Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA)

Through MAPPA, the police, prison, and probation services work with other agencies with the motive of protecting the public by reducing the risks caused by violent or sexual offenders living within the community. It is the mechanism through which agencies can execute their statutory responsibilities of protecting the public in a coordinated manner. Agencies always retain their statutory responsibilities as well as obligations.

What We Do?

At Foundry Risk Management, we aim at supporting the running of MAPPA meetings and look after the process through which each conference run. We believe in a ‘hands on’ approach as it helps in establishing the best practices and methods to successfully achieve interventions for the victims, their families, and the community as a whole.

We have years of experience in successfully running MAPPA conferences over numerous London boroughs and dealt with numerous complicated cases of counter-terrorism, murder, and child sexual abuse. We have even managed hundreds of cases and used methods like the services of police, social workers, and voluntary agencies to let the offenders lead a normal life.
